The leaders of the pro-Russian separatists in Eastern Ukraine said that they are ready to order a ceasefire in the event of an agreement on a peace plan on Friday in Minsk, according to a statement posted on their official website, AFP informs.
The leaders of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk “are ready to order a ceasefire, Friday at 15.00 (local time), if an agreement is reached and if the representatives of Ukraine sign a political settlement plan” during a meeting of the “Contact Group”, consisting of Ukrainian, Russian and OSCE representatives, and the rebels, on Friday in the capital of Belarus.
