Russia would be losing 32 billion euro per year due to Western sanctions and up to 80 billion euro because of the oil price collapse, estimated on Monday the Russian Minister of Finance, Anton Siluanov, quoted by AFP.

„We will record a loss of 40 billion dollars (32 billion euros) per year due to geopolitical sanctions and we could lose 90-100 billion dollars (72-80 billion euros) because of the 30% decrease in the oil price”, declared the Russian Minister, quoted by the Tass Agency.

On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin was declaring during an interview for the same press agency that the Western sanctions and the current decline of the oil prices in the world market will not have catastrophic effects for the Russian economy.
