The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) announced on Monday that real estate developer One United Properties and freight forwarder Transport Trade Services were included in the FTSE Russell indices for emerging markets.
One United Properties is the fifth Romanian company to be included in FTSE Global All Cap indices, after Banca Transilvania, nuclear power plant operator Nuclearelectrica, oil and gas group OMV Petrom and plastic products manufacturer TeraPlast, the bourse said in a press release.
Transport Trade Services is the second Romanian company included in FTSE Global Micro Cap indices, joining IT company Bittnet.
The inclusion of One United Properties and Transport Trade Services shares in FTSE Global All-Cap indices was decided by the global index provider on Friday.
„The market capitalisation of all companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, on both markets, is 236.3 billion lei ($54 billion/47.7billion euro), up 57% above the level as of September 18, 2020, prior to the effective promotion to the emerging market status,” stated BVB.
