Cu 8 nominalizări pentru „Barbie” și un număr uluitor de 13 pentru „Oppenheimer”, concurența este acerbă, ceea ce reprezintă scuza perfectă pentru fani de a inventa termenul „Barbenheimer”.
Kyle Buchanan, apreciatul editorialist al The New York Times pentru sezonul premiilor, a anticipat anterior dificultatea de a prezice un favorit clar.
