The President of the European Commission, Jean Claude Juncker, urged the creation of a European army last Sunday, especially in the context of the increasingly tense relations with Russia, regarding Ukraine
Moscow is interested in hearing some explanations from Brussels on the idea of creating a European Union Army, declared the Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, Aleksei Meshkov, approached by the Tass news agency regarding the statements that were made on Sunday by the President of the European Commission, Jean Claude Juncker.
We would like to understand what this is all about, because in the last 30 years European politicians have addressed this issue on various levels. It is difficult to understand what Juncker meant this time

On Sunday, the President of the European Commission, Jean Claude Juncker, urged the creation of a European army, especially in the context of the increasingly tense relations with Russia, regarding Ukraine. In Juncker’s opinion, such a force would allow the EU to deal with the new threats near its borders and to defend European values.
