European Union member states have reached an agreement on Thursday so that the new economic sanctions against Russia will take effect on Friday
Russia has prepared new retaliatory measures against the EU sanctions, particularly predicting restrictions on the imports of machinery and light industry products, declared a Kremlin councilor on Thursday.
“The Ministry of Economy has already prepared, as far as I know, the list of products” that will be covered by the new measures, in addition to the food products that are already under embargo, declared councilor Andrei Belusov for the RIA Novositi news agency.
“But I hope that common sense will prevail and that we will not be forced to adopt these measures” he added.
European sources said that the European Union member states have reached an agreement on Thursday so that the new economic sanctions against Russia will take effect on Friday.
