Two tourists who hid ammunition inside of toys in their luggage were arrested on Monday on the Ben Gurion Israeli airport of Tel Aviv, announced a spokesman of the airport, according to AFP.
The two passengers, an Israeli and an Uzbek, were to fly off to Tashkent aboard a plane belonging to the Uzbekistan Airways company.
The 36 year old Israeli was spotted when checking his hand luggage. Inside a toy that was shaped like a boat, the security forces discovered a charger with munition. The suspect tried to flee, but was caught and arrested.
During the thorough control that followed the incident, more bullets and also drugs were found hidden inside a doll in the suitcase of a passenger of Uzbek nationality, who was also detained, added the same spokesman.
