AROBS Transilvania Software starts trading on BVB

Romanian IT company AROBS Transilvania Software started trading on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday under the ticker symbol AROBS, according to a press release.

BVB stated that in October this year, AROBS closed in advance on the first day, the largest private placement in the history of the AeRO market, by attracting the amount of RON 74.2mln from investors.

The funds raised will support the company’s expansion strategy, through the acquisition of IT companies both nationally and internationally, the opening of new subsidiaries in major markets in Europe and the United States, as well as the development of the company’s expertise and specializations.

AROBS is a multinational company with seven offices open in Romania and another seven abroad.

During the private placement held on October 15, 2021, the company sold a number of 54,697,494 new registered, ordinary, dematerialized shares to 149 retail investors, 38 professionals, and 9 institutional investors who subscribed shares at a price of RON 1.357 per share.

In 2020, AROBS Transilvania Software registered, at individual level, a turnover of RON 154.5mln EBITDA of RON 46.6mln, and a net profit of RON 40.4 mln. For the year 2021, the company estimates revenues at a consolidated level in the AROBS Group amounting to RON 192.7mln and consolidated EBITDA of RON 52.8mln.
